Shawn is the owner of Soffritto PR and an effective communications executive with 10 years of experience who provides long-term vision, empowering leadership, innovative solutions, and strong interpersonal relationship skills.  An Atlanta Business Chronicle 2012 Employee of the Year and awarded the Association of Junior League's International Fundraiser of the Year Award in 2017, her work includes event planning, social media management, community and client relations, strategic planning, and integrated communications, all with a proven record of accomplishment of reaching brand influencers.

Shawn got her start in PR working for NBC East Coast Entertainment Publicity launching shows like 30 Rock, but soon realized her passion was with hospitality and food, as well as the non-profit industry.  Diligent and responsible, she is an expert in connecting companies to their influencer groups, creating ambassadors that spread the brand’s message.

As a firm believer in public service, Shawn volunteers her spare time with Big Brother Big Sister Atlanta and the Junior League of Atlanta, working directly with various non-profits around the city, leading a successful $80,000 week-long fundraiser, and overseeing membership programing for 3,5000 women.  She serves on the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Marketing Committee and is a special advisor to their social media program.  Shawn is the secretary for her neighborhood association, as well as leads the association's communications committee.  She is an Atlanta Tree Citizen Advocate serving with Trees Atlanta to protect the city's canopy.  As a dedicated foodie and supporter of local agriculture, Shawn has run her own food blog for several years, but her true passion is traveling around the world experiencing new cultures and cuisines.

After graduating from a Marketing & Communications School in her native Paris, Marie worked as a Communications and Public Relations specialist for various companies in the hospitality industry including Galleries Lafayette Gourmet, Hyatt International, LUX* Resorts, L'atelier des Chefs, La Chocolaterie de Jacques Genin, and Le Chalet du Mont d'Arbois.

Since she moved to the US in 2011, she has been the marketing manager for local non-profits, such as Middlesex Habitat for Humanity of Connecticut and Alzheimer’s Family Services Center in Southern California. She has a penchant for visual designs in all forms, and some of her creations include posters, catalogues, vehicle signage, marketing wall project development and design. She is fluent in English, French and Italian.

When not reading her cookbooks or exploring new bakeries, she spends most of her free time in the kitchen, baking delicious treats for friends and family. Her hobbies also include yoga, hiking, and traveling.

Ankita is a second-year Posse scholar at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. She is studying Public Relations in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and is currently undecided in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Starting off as an intern with Soffritto in the summer of 2016, Ankita loved her experience and working with Shawn, and stayed on as a PR Assistant upon returning to school.

At Syracuse University, Ankita is an on-air personality with Z89 Radio. She is also the Head of Production for Ottonomous Productions, a film organization. Her passion for media and writing is complemented by her love of dance and peer mentorship of younger students. Ankita is also an active member and current officer for her fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi.

Jennifer began her social media marketing journey as a digital content creator herself-- since uploading her first video on YouTube in 2007, she's garnered over 38 million views and has worked with digital entities: YouTube and Google.  Pulling from her experiences of building her own brand, she helps clients to create successful social media marketing campaigns and develop effective online brand strategies.

In 2016, Jennifer was invited to the White House as an Asian-American Influencer by President Obama's White House Initiative for AAPIHM.  Originally from the bay area, Jennifer currently resides in Atlanta with her husband, Joules and their two rescue pit mixes.

Soffritto PR has had the pleasure to work with:

Soffrito PR has been one of the best things to happen to my organization, hands down. As a growing nonprofit, visibility in the community is key, but strategizing and planning a large-scale event seemed completely daunting while trying to keep day-to-day operations afloat. Shawn made it a breeze. She knew whats, whens, and hows to turn what would have been a stressful slog into a joy to execute and a success for the organization. (And was a joy to spend time with the whole way!)
